Dedicated to 70 th Birthday Anniversary of John Curry, Olympic Champion 1976 and unique Artist on Ice, one of the greatest skaters of all times. He created ice skating revolution, being the first to blend the fluid balletic expressiveness with athletic virtuosity, turning ice skating into a beautiful art on ice. Described as “Nureyev on ice”, he possessed an artistry that spoke to worldwide audience.

Enter the world of a disused carnival and forgotten stories, hidden dreams and creative wonders of the imagination. Delve into the mind of John Curry and some of his key works as we discover new meaning to stories told, untold and never to be told. From iconic works originally created on ice – Don Quixote and Scheherazade, the hinted at Firebird that never managed to fly and the hustle and bustle of New York, New York. Brought to life by the imagination of Balbir Singh working with dancers from China, Georgie, South Korea and Columbia alongside contemporary and Kathak dancers. Be warned, you may get lost in the world of dreams and never find your way back to reality.

Fresh from performing at the Royal Heritage Days Festival in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates and appearing on Al Jazeera Television, Balbir Singh Dance Company and Absolutely Legless Irish Dancers bring you the new exciting fusion show “Irish and Indian Dreams”, creating a new kind of cultural conversation. The Irish hard and soft shoe traditions and Kathak dance have a surprising amount in common. Both feature strong rhythmic footwork, stories told through dance and song, and a lyrical graceful performance quality, complementing each other to keep the audience entertained.
